In February of 2012, what started off as a campus of One Way Church, steadily grew into what is today known as Journey Church. After some soul-searching in 2014, Lead Pastors Andrew and Marija van Rensburg strongly felt led by God to 'stay and build' in the city of Vereeniging. Soon after they were appointed as the campus pastors, where they gained significant ministry experience in the years that followed.

 

In January of 2019, under the guidance and support from the AOG National Leadership, the campus was relaunched as Journey Church, where Andrew and Marija were released as lead pastors to pursue the dream that God had hidden in their hearts – to build a church that helps people reach their God-given destiny. Their heart is to serve God, people and the city of Vereeniging with excellence, earnestness and enthusiasm.
